Invitation to Celebrate Vesak Day 2023 and Join Dhutanga Night
Theravada Buddhism observes Vesak Day every year on the full moon day of April (Lunar Calendar) to commemorate three significant events in the life of Gautama Buddha: The Birthday, The Enlightenment Day, and Nirvana Day. This year, the Sakyamuni Buddhist Meditation Center is excited to host our 2023 Vesak Day celebration and Dhutanga Night:

Dhutanga Night (Night of Austerity and Meditation)
To celebrate Vesak Festival, we invite you to join us for Dhutanga Night, a Sitting Only Ascetic Practice Night, to honor the life and teachings of the Buddha.
