INVITATION FOR THE 2023 KATHINA ROBE OFFERING CEREMONY on NOVEMBER 19, 2023
With a history spanning over 2,500 years since the time of the Gautama Buddha, the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony not only reflects the aspiration to preserve the Dharma through the support of the Three Jewels by the Buddhist community but also marks a significant milestone on the path of spiritual cultivation for the monastic Sangha after the annual 3-month rains retreat.
This year, the Sakyamuni Buddhist Meditation Center, under the direct guidance of the Most Venerable KHIPPAPANNO KIM TRIEU, joyfully organizes the 2023 Kathina Offering Ceremony in line with this beautiful tradition. The monastery cordially invites all Sangha members, Buddhist fellows, and Dhamma friends to join us on this special occasion.
