Established in 1988 and located in the sunny city of Riverside, Southern California, with beautiful snow-capped mountains in the winter, Sakyamuni Buddhist Meditation Center is known not only as a Theravada Buddhist monastery under the direct guidance of the most Venerable Khippapanno Kim Trieu, but also as a place that provides support to monks, nuns, and lay practitioners through the organization of intensive Vipassana Insight meditation retreats.
